1.3: Cursor cant find lints, keeps trying to run shell commands

Describe the Bug

with latest 1.3 Cursor keeps trying to run npm commands to generate lints instead of looking at whatever is already defined in the environment. You tell it no, you have it already and it goes “ah right you’re right” then uses the data. Frustrating.

Steps to Reproduce

No idea, do some work, it tries to execute shell commands

Operating System

MacOS

hi @charles what do you have defined in the environment for linting?
Do you mean the built-in linter or a CLI environment?

Hey, thanks for the report. I noticed that you have version 1.3.4. Could you update to 1.3.9 and see if the issue persists? Also, please let me know which model you are using.

Additionally, could you share the request ID? To do this, you’ll need to disable privacy mode if it’s enabled.

Hey folks, yeah this was a few days ago, on 9 now. Will let you know if I see it again. Nothing special defined for linting, whatever Cursor has for the ‘Problems’ tab
