Why can I not create a 2nd cursor account with the same email address and invite another team member (also already in a team) to that team?

Seems that cursor limit 1 email to 1 team? That’s not great for doing different projects with different teams, using the same email? Surely that should be possible?

This is how Teams currently works: each Cursor account is tied to one email address, and an account can only be an active member of one paid team at a time. That is why the invite from your second team couldn’t be accepted with the account that already belongs to Wyzetalk, and why your teammate hits the same wall.

A few options depending on what you need:

  1. Keep everything in one team. Projects and repos aren’t tied to a team, so one team can work across as many projects as you like.
  2. Use a separate account (with a different email) for each team, and sign out and back in with the one you need. Each account takes its own seat in its team.
  3. If you need people to belong to several teams under one company, that’s supported for teams inside an Enterprise team.
