Put free users and students in a separate pool for accessing hot models like Claude 3.7, and gurrantee the access bandwidth for paid users. It might sound a bit selfish, but I think paid users deserve better service, right? As an annual subscriber, I’m very much tired getting messages like “Claude Slow Pool is under heavy load. Please select another model, try again later, or enable usage-based pricing to get more fast requests…”, it’s has been impacting our work seriously.
