Cursor already supports sharing conversations in two ways:
Export as Markdown: You can use the context menu and select “Export Chat” to save conversations locally for sharing however you’d like.
Share as read-only links: Click the Share icon in the chat header, choose visibility (Team or Public), and copy the shareable link. These transcripts include all messages, code snippets, and context.
A couple of things to note:
Sharing requires a paid plan (Pro, Teams, or Enterprise) and isn’t available for Free/trial users
Pro users can only share publicly, while Teams/Enterprise plans have team visibility options
Cursor automatically redacts secrets like API keys, but it’s always good to review content before sharing sensitive conversations
