about version number format in Cursor AppImage filenames

Hi,

I noticed that the AppImage filenames for Cursor follow a format like cursor-0.45.11x86_64.AppImage, where the version number and the architecture (x86_64) are directly concatenated without a hyphen (-). For example:

  • cursor-0.45.11x86_64.AppImage
  • cursor-0.45.14x86_64.AppImage

I’m curious about the reasoning behind this naming convention. Is there a specific design choice or technical reason for omitting the hyphen between the version number and the architecture?

Best regards
