in agent window, account usage percentage left has gone missing after update cursor to 3.9.16
in Settings > Agents > Usage Summary already set to “Always” still not appear
Hey, thanks for the report and the screenshot. This is a known limitation of the new Agents window. The plan usage indicator is temporarily removed from that window’s status bar, so Usage Summary → “Always” doesn’t affect anything there right now. Important: your usage is still tracked correctly. Only the readout in the bar is missing, nothing is lost.
Workaround inside the Agents window: turn off Chat Status Bar via View → Status Bar, or in the Command Palette search for “Status Bar”. This brings back the separate usage summary bar that respects “Always”. The trade-off is that you’ll lose the inline context % display.
You can also always see full plan usage:
- In the regular Editor window, where “Always” works like before
- On cursor.com/dashboard
We’re aware of the bug and tracking it in the same thread as this discussion (Agents Window) Where did the total usage indicator go?. No exact timeline yet for bringing the indicator back, we’ll share an update once we have one.
