# Add block support to Cloud Automation Send to Slack tool

### Feature request for product/service

Cloud Agent (GitHub, Slack, Linear,…)

### Describe the request

While working on an Automation that generates table reports sent to Slack, my team discovered that the Send to Slack ([Automations | Cursor Docs](https://cursor.com/docs/cloud-agent/automations#send-to-slack)) tool (send\_slack\_message) does not support Slack blocks; only markdown text is supported. I would like to request support for blocks so we can more fully take advantage of Slacks capabilities.
