Cursor team, the latest updates to Cursor (I’m at 2.3) have been good from a stability point, so great job on the QA efforts so far.
However, I wanted to note that, a new design experience that you introduced is particularly annoying from a UX front for me on one item (see GUI element on the right side)
-This agent side panel that inconsistently slides-in and pops out when I’m scrolling my agent chat history is super annoying to deal with and highly sensitive (as it actually ends up blocking my ability to scroll with a mouse pointer). I’m on a laptop and when I try to drag the scrollbar, this agent side panel history comes in and out at random times and seems to trigger too easily. It stops my scrolling too which is why I’m more annoyed at it.
It’s especially annoying when I have other VS code extensions like Claude Code running where I’m trying to do simple scrolls on a chat.
Can you please advise how to prevent this agent panel from showing up when I just drag and scroll my chat history using my mouse pointer?
Otherwise, it would be nice to have this turned off by default.
