Have Ultra plan, all agents regardless of model are stuck in Taking Longer Than Expected mode…It has been over 12 hours since I’ve been able to use Cursor. I’m on windows 10. ---

Hey @JPS!, a full quit and reopen (not just a window reload) clears this, so hopefully you’re back up now. It’s a known issue on Windows where the Agent gets wedged gathering context locally before it sends anything, so every chat in that window hangs no matter the model. Nothing to do with your account or our servers, and it’s an issue we’re tracking. If it comes back, fully restart or run Agent from the Agents Window (`Ctrl+Shift+P` → “Open Agents Window”), which has stayed clear for others. If even a restart doesn’t help, grab a debug bundle right after it hangs (`Ctrl+Shift+P` → “Developer: Capture and Send Debugging Data”) and reply with the time - that helps us track it down. ---

Hey @JPS, A fix for agents getting stuck on “Taking longer than expected” on Windows is came in Cursor 3.25. Once you’re on that version, please give it another try. If a chat still gets stuck, let me know roughly when it happened so we can take a look.
