Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

I set different options in the product - you push out new updates and then somehow all my options are forgotten. Am I the only one experiencing this?

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

This is indeed unexpected - settings should persist across updates. Based on other reports, it might be related to permissions or the installation type.

Could you clarify:

  1. Which settings are being reset? (Cursor Settings, VS Code settings.json, extensions, layouts?)
  2. How is Cursor installed - User install or System install?
  3. Are there any permission issues with the folders %APPDATA%\Cursor or %USERPROFILE%\.cursor?
