Background Agent (GitHub, Slack, Linear,…)

Describe the request

Many times a PR from the background agent needs work because tests or other checks like linters are not passing.

Right now, the background agent seems to have access to all posts and all comments, but none to the actions status and logs. Having that, would allow it to iterate either manually or automatically and fix very common blockers without copy/pasting the results and giving instructions.

Hey, thanks for the feature request.

That’s a really useful idea. Giving Cloud Agents access to GitHub Actions status and logs would let the agent automatically iterate and fix failing checks without manual intervention.

The team is already looking into similar functionality. I’ll pass your request along for prioritization.
