### Feature request for product/service

Background Agent (GitHub, Slack, Linear,…)

### Describe the request

I like creating cursor automations but i want the to be able to be more personolized on github. for example lets say i have PR reviewer and feature implementer automations on github PR and they both leave comments as cursor[bot], would be nice to be able change name or something so it is easier to distinguish who left the comment.

Thanks for sharing this. That makes sense, especially when multiple automations are active on the same PR and all comments appear from `cursor[bot]`. We don’t currently support customizing the GitHub bot name or display identity per automation.

As a workaround, you can add an explicit instruction to each automation’s prompt, for example: “When commenting on a PR, include `From: Quality Checker Agent` at the top or bottom of the comment.” That way, even though the GitHub author is still `cursor[bot]`, the comment body makes it clear which automation produced it.
