This is just a generic warning to make sure to double-check what you’re reading/getting for a response because it might not always be true.
I struggle with this big time. I think we can agree that no one will cheer at the simple fact Claude can now flat-out lie but to say that it erodes confidence in what already is a brittle working relationship is kind of an understatement.

Ikr? Tested if I was perhaps leading it on. Can happen by formulating frustrations so that it automatically buys into your anger logic (a more pleasing routine I guess) but nope…it simply did it no matter how I formulated or wrapped it. Guess with Claude 4 we should start to worry about it trying to steal our spouse
