I’m in an windows environment that uses applocker (application whitelisting). The ripgrep executable is not signed, so it gets blocked when called. Just leaving a generating… in the UI.
%OSDRIVE%\USERS\GK\APPDATA\LOCAL\PROGRAMS\CURSOR\RESOURCES\APP\NODE_MODULES@VSCODE\RIPGREP\BIN\RG.EXE was prevented from running.
Probably the solution is to have this signed like all of the other cursor exe files.
This was on cursor 0.47 and also 0.48.
