Auto mode not working rn

Describe the Bug

auto mode either responds to some context that is like 5 or more messages behind or it just states what change to make with out actually making it. or now i am just getting completely blank responses just asking it to write out my git commits.

sometimes it is good and does stuff as i want and sometimes it is just not usable at all. which i realize it is not consistently the same model behind the hood so maybe thats the explanation but what ever model i am getting rn probably shouldn’t be in the mix as it is negative productivity.

Steps to Reproduce

click auto mode and type stuff and see what happens

hi @bwanedead and thank you for the bug report.

Yes the models behind auto change to avoid overloading a single model.

If you have an issue with a specific response you can mark the answer with thumbs down in chat.

Additionally if you receive blank responses could you post a Request ID with privacy disabled so we can look into the details? Cursor – Getting a Request ID
