Hey, thanks for the detailed report. I looked into it, and the good news is Auto mode isn’t broken. The Composer 2.5 incident on June 17 isn’t related, the timing just matched by coincidence.
Total usage limit reached is the expected response when you’ve used up your included quota and also hit your on-demand spend limit. Auto on Pro isn’t unlimited. Requests first use your plan’s included quota, then they start counting as on-demand credits, and once you reach your spend limit for the billing cycle, further requests get blocked.
What you can do:
Open Dashboard → Usage to see the breakdown for included vs on-demand and how much you’ve used this cycle.
To keep going right now, increase your on-demand spend limit. There’s a Set a new on-demand limit button in the same error popup.
Or wait for the monthly quota reset.
The fact that a second user saw the error around the same time is probably just coincidence. With active Auto usage, both of you likely hit limits independently.
If the Dashboard numbers look off or you want to review specific charges, email [email protected] and they can check your account. Let me know if anything’s still unclear.
