I am running 0.47.8 and Yolo mode has stopped working.

Any idea how to make it work?

I also can’t get auto-run to work, seemingly no matter what I add to the auto-run prompt or what instructions I give to the model.

You must remove the auto run prompt. that isnt necessary and prevents your allowlist to work.

In some versions or cases you may be asked one time to confirm in the Chat as well.

I checked right now it works fine.

I’ve upgraded to 0.48.6 and it no longer has the auto-run prompt. _sometimes_ it will autorun the commands I’ve asked it to, but seemingly only about 15% of the time.

Same boat here - M1 Mac.

The weird thing is that it was working a couple of days ago and then stopped again?

I was able to fix this by removing the list of commands I had in `Cursor Settings` \> `Features` \> `Command allowlist` - once I cleared that out, everything started working. I suppose a short allow list is the equivalent of a large block list, but I was expecting the prompts to auto-run would somehow override that.

This is still not working for me. I have no autorun prompt and my allowlist is, and was, empty. I upgraded this morning to 0.5.0. On Arch Linux.

> Hi Cursor AI team and community, play_button Summary Feel free to throw a like on this post or to comment to help boost and maintain visibility, without replies it will fall to the depths of the forum and help nobody. I’ve been a user of Cursor AI for a while and appreciate its potential, but I’ve noticed significant performance issues, such as slow API requests and general platform challenges, especially in recent weeks. These issues have impacted my workflow, and I’ve seen similar feedback from others …

trying to shine light on frequent issues that seem to go unaddressed to see if we can get some enhancement on efficiency for solutions going forward.
