Automations and Web Agents unable to access or Github Org Repositories

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Background Agent (GitHub, Slack, Web, Linear)

Describe the Bug

I have authenticated my github integration and verified the app is installed in github for the org. Even still the repositories are not showing up in the web agents, or the automations.

This happened after clearing my mcp tokens. Prior to clearing my mcp tokens I was able to see all of the repos for the connected orgs, now they are inaccessible.

Steps to Reproduce

I think just clear your mcp tokens.

Expected Behavior

I should be able to access the org repositories in the web agents and the automations tools.

Adding screenshots of the different parts of UI to show that I have verified the cursor apps is installed and the github integration is authorized, as well as the repo select not showing the repos even after clicking the refresh button.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

I have also tried uninstalling the app on the org and reinstalling. That did not fix the issue.

This seems to be an issue with cursor being able to read github org data.

Hi @Thomas_Valadez I think you need to re-connect from this page please:

https://cursor.com/dashboard/integrations ? Right now I see you are connected to sound-sculpt and th-m organizations but not Mango Voice. You can press Manage in Github and then make sure you are authorizing Mango Voice properly.

Same issue for us

Maybe it is an issue with github? I don’t know.

But immediatly after authorizing

I am presented with the install cursor

Clicking on an org that already has it installed takes me to the configure screen

After uninstalling and reinstalling the app in my soundsculpt org the repos started showing up after a few hours.

However I do not have ownership permissions on Mango Voice org to uninstall and reinstall the app. And I am not sure what impact an uninstall and reinstall on the app would have on other team members.

just tried again… and still doesn’t work.

Uninstalling and reinstalling on github corrected the issue for my personal user, however it hasn’t corrected it for other users in the org.

This is still an issue for us blocking team members from using the automations tool.

Guidance here would be appreciated.

In fact it seems uninstalling and reinstalling breaks it for other users. A coworker just “fixed” his automations and now mine do not work, and I am back to where I started in this thread. Broken automations and web agents, with no way to authenticate and access org repos

Hi @Thomas_Valadez thanks for the detailed follow-up, and sorry this has blocked your team.

We identified a backend issue matching the behavior where reconnecting restored access for one teammate but removed it for another. We shipped a fix on June 26. This is a server-side fix, so no client update is needed.

Please have the affected users reload the Agents page and retry. You should not need to uninstall or reinstall the GitHub app again.

If the MangoVoice repositories are still missing, let me know, and we can take a closer look.
