agent ignore me and then create some random branch when i specify branch name with request adding feature. anyone have a tip or solution? thank you

This should be an option for user to specify branch name

Agent always creates a /cursor/randombranch which you then merge into which ever branch you like.

I am running into this need as well because we have a branch naming convention that includes the Jira ticket in the name, so that we can link the branch to the ticket. This missing configuration is blocking us from using Background Agents. Ideally, the branch that is linked in the Cursor Agents web…

@tlmader did you submit a feature request? We need this too. We name/tag docker images based on branch (and have similar JIRA requirements for PRs) and / characters are illegal in Docker image tags.
