Describe the Bug

Situation: Cusor IDE, Make popedout screen to work on my second screen.
Screen: Wide screen turend sideways’ philps monitor.
Bug: When pressing delete or backspace the cursor of the type window moves to the start of the line. so that means that you type. a b c d e (cursor positions), [backspace], (cursor position) a b c d e, so you get : f g a b c d e.

This is an error/bug thing. Please fix it :slight_smile: And give me my bug bounty please :slight_smile:

Steps to Reproduce

  • Pop out window.
  • Move window to second screen
  • type,
  • press backspace

Expected Behavior

should not do this.

Hey @Leo_Hanhart, thanks for the report! This isn’t intended behavior, and it’s not your monitor or its rotation. When the chat tab is popped into its own window, the caret jumps to the start of the line after Backspace, so new text lands at the beginning. This is an issue we’re tracking.

Quickest fixes for now: close the chat panel in the main window so only the popped-out one is open (most reliable), or keep the chat docked in the main window to avoid it entirely.

I’ll follow up here when there’s an update. One note: we don’t offer rewards for these reports, and support stays here on the forum rather than by phone, so I’ve edited out your number since the thread is public.
