Describe the Bug

My internet is fine, but get Bad Request each time, so I’m stuck… Already sent a ticket to support, but they suggest I look here, while I’m waiting. I was trying to push to Github, but even when I ask something else, it doesn’t work.
I was able to start a new project and work on that, so it’s very strange.
I even bought a Pro+ account to make sure it’s not my subscription or token usage… Hopefully there will be a solution soon. I’m building a Testflight app… I’m on Windows 11, Neo 15, rtx 3080

Yes, whatever prompt I type gives the same result. Bad Request…

Difficult question below.
I just temporarily switched to doing an UI experiment and was able to use Cursor for that.
But can’t use Cursor for the app I’m actually working on. 100% blocked now…

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Thanks for reporting this! Please try these steps:

1. Disable MCP servers: Go to Cursor Settings → MCP → disable any enabled MCP servers (this fixed identical issues)
2. Start a fresh chat in your problematic project - does it work in new chats?

Let me know if disabling MCP servers resolves it!

Hey, thanks for checking in. It does seem to have some influence. In the new chat I can at least talk to the AI but the MCP is still red on restart. Composer is talking about a build-inspect file that is some sort of subfolder. I’m hesitant to let it commit since I didnt ask for it and it might have conflicting info/ changes. please advise. My internet connection is fine. I tried ‘try again’ but same result. Strangely enough it was able to look at Github without the MCP working.

Also it should probably be generally more clear where the MCPs are. You expect them at ‘extensions’ or somewhere there.

Let me know if you know how to fix this.

And now I can’t use other chats either…. So I wasn’t able to use Cursor in days now…
