Editor currently not working.

Steps to Reproduce

When I open up the Editor and run a command to make a change to the code it returns the error.

Expected Behavior

Editor should work as normal and user should be able to make adjustments to code.

Primary solution - check MCP servers:

If that doesn’t help:

  • Try starting a new chat - does everything work in a new chat?
  • Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics
  • Reduce context: in Chat settings, try lowering the context window or temporarily disabling some sources
