Editor currently not working.

Steps to Reproduce

When I open up the Editor and run a command to make a change to the code it returns the error.

Expected Behavior

Editor should work as normal and user should be able to make adjustments to code.

Hey, thanks for the report. This error pattern has already been resolved in similar cases.

Primary solution - check MCP servers:

If that doesn’t help:

  • Try starting a new chat - does everything work in a new chat?
  • Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics
  • Reduce context: in Chat settings, try lowering the context window or temporarily disabling some sources

Could you let me know if you have any MCP servers enabled and whether disabling them resolves the issue?
