Bitbucket Cloud integration stuck on "Connect" after successful OAuth grant

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cloud Agent (GitHub, Slack, Web, Linear)

Describe the Bug

Bug: Clicking Connect opens the Atlassian OAuth flow and I click “Grant access”. The authorization does appear in Bitbucket under Personal settings → App authorizations (“Cursor”), but the Cursor dashboard keeps showing “Connect” — no error message, no Manage menu. Revoking the grant and reconnecting (also in incognito, popups allowed) results in the same loop. I’m an owner of the Bitbucket workspace and admin of the Cursor team. Linear connected without issues.

Expected: Integration shows Connected so I can install the Cursor app in the workspace.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to cursor.com dashboard → Integrations
  2. Click Connect next to Bitbucket Cloud
  3. Complete the Atlassian OAuth flow and click “Grant access”
  4. Return to the dashboard: status still shows “Connect” (no error, no Manage menu)
  5. The grant does appear in Bitbucket under Personal settings → App authorizations (“Cursor”)
  6. Revoked the grant and repeated the flow, also in an incognito window with popups allowed — same result

Expected Behavior

Integration shows “Connected” so I can proceed to install the Cursor app in the Bitbucket workspace.

Operating System

MacOS

Version Information

Web interface (cursor.com dashboard), Chrome. I’m an owner of the Bitbucket workspace and admin of the Cursor team.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @Wim,
First, a quick check: the authorization finishes in the new tab that opens (it should send you back to the Integrations page), but your original dashboard tab won’t always refresh on its own. Do a hard refresh of cursor.com/dashboard/integrations (Cmd+Shift+R) and see if it flips to “Connected.”

If it still shows “Connect” after a full refresh: in Bitbucket go to Personal settings → App authorizations, revoke “Cursor,” then reconnect and complete the whole flow in one window with pop-up/tracking blockers off.

Once it shows Connected, the workspace-app install you’re after lives under the Manage menu - steps are in the Bitbucket docs.

Bitbucket Cloud is still in public beta and we’re actively ironing out connect issues. If a full refresh doesn’t do it, reply here and I’ll dig into it on our side.

Thanks for the reply! I tried all of the above: hard refresh (Cmd+Shift+R) on the integrations page, revoked “Cursor” in Bitbucket App authorizations, and completed the whole flow again in a single regular Chrome window with popup and tracking blockers disabled and third-party cookies allowed. The grant shows up again in Bitbucket, but back in the dashboard still it shows “Connect”, also after a hard refresh.
