Bot failed to respond

None of my agents in grok bot work. I tried in macos / iOS reinstalled the apps created new agents but nothing works. It is bricked for me.

Does this stop you from using Cursor?

  • Yes - Cursor is unusable
  • Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
  • No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @Scott_Rocha, thanks for the report.

From what we can see, the computer behind your Bots got into a stuck state a couple of days ago, and since every Bot (on macOS and iOS) runs on that same computer, reinstalling the apps or creating new agents couldn’t help, which matches what you saw.

The good news: it looks like your computer recovered earlier today and replies are going through again. Could you confirm things are working on your end?

If it ever gets stuck again, the quickest fix is in the desktop app: open a Bot, go to Settings > Updates, and hit Reset Grok Bot’s Computer (your Bots, files, and logins are kept).

One more thing, your reinstalled macOS app is on an older version, so while you’re in Settings > Updates it’s worth updating to the latest (0.23).
