Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @Peter_FISH, thanks for the repro! That dialog currently needs at least two folders before it will save. That’s not intended, and we’ve let the team know.

For now:

  • Renaming a single-folder project: rename the folder on disk and the project name will follow. Older chats for that folder may drop out of the sidebar afterward, but you can still find them with Search Agents (Ctrl+Alt+P).
  • Cutting a workspace down to one folder: open that folder by itself as a new project. Your old chats stay with the original workspace.

Which one were you doing? I’ll post here when there’s an update.

Dear Mohit,
Thank you for your prompt response and for providing these workarounds.
To answer your question, my situation actually involved a combination of both scenarios due to the limitation I encountered.
My ultimate goal was to rename a single-folder project/workspace (Scenario 1). However, since the save button remains disabled when only one folder is selected, I was unable to complete the rename directly.
As a workaround, I temporarily added a second folder just to enable the “Save” button. Following that, I attempted to edit the workspace again to cut it down back to a single folder (Scenario 2) by removing the temporary one. That was when I got stuck, as the system would not allow me to save with only one folder remaining.
I hope this clarification helps your team pinpoint the issue. Please let me know if you need any further details or logs from my end.
Best regards,
