"Build in New Agent" option is gone

Describe the Bug

As of a couple days ago, I no longer see the “Build in New Agent” option. I’m accustomed to the option appearing when I select specific To-Dos in the plan view.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Open Agent chat
  • Switch to Plan mode
  • Generate plan
  • Click View Plan
  • Select any of the To-Dos

Expected Behavior

“Build in New Agent” button appears where “+New” is

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report and the video.

The Build in New Agent button is still there, but in v3.0.6 the way you select To-Dos changed. Before, you could click anywhere on the row. Now you need to click the small checkmark on the right of each To-Do. Once you select the items you want using that checkmark, the Build in New Agent button will show up in the header instead of +New.

Give that a try and let me know if it helps.

Glad I can still do this - it is a feature I love. But wow, having to do a forum search and scroll through 50 posts to find this one is not a fun ui experience! If we had release notes maybe it would be easy, but zero mention of this change in the ‘change logs’.

+1 this was super confusing to me too. Thank you banduki for reporting this, saved me so much time from having to also dig the forums

@wadsworj That’s valid feedback, we really should’ve called this change out in the changelog.
