What issues are you seeing?
I’m not the OP, but I can start:

I cant ask anything in markdown format because composer and chat breaks at the first code, or #, or any format character.

since today I’m getting this in every code in chat and composer:
console.log('��������������������������������������
��������������������������… this until the end of the code.
This is because there was a special character (icon) there.
3- it’s way dumber than before applying changes. I have to end up applying very simple stuff manually because some times it tends to try to delete 80% of the code instead of adding a couple of lines.
4- There’s no way to actually compare because (i think) there is no way to downgrade o have 2 versions installed at the same time, but i think Ive spent half of my fast requests asking “yes, I’ve told you to implement it, do it”. Some times its just a joke 4 times until I stop getting the same explanation instead of having the code being shown or applied.
If there is some way to downgrade, please let me know.

5- ctrl + shift + e shortcut to resolve a Problem in chat no longer works

I had been developing smoothly for many tasks, but after the update, the experience has become less seamless.I have to redo the project, and all the time I spent has been wasted. I was disappointed to find that the previous Ctrl + I interface is no longer available. Additionally, I preferred the earlier coding method. Previously, tasks could be resolved automatically without needing to drag the script, but now it requires manual intervention to hand it over to the AI and make modifications. This doesn’t feel like AI coding anymore; it’s more akin to answering questions.
Furthermore, every time I click on chat, the compose function automatically disappears, and the AI’s output changes, often including several “???”. Another issue I find most disappointing is that it cannot check if I have a subdirectory—it simply changes or adds a new location instead of saving it within my subdirectory. As a result, I have to manually delete it each time.
I still prefer the previous Cursor and hope it can return.

is this using composer agent? and with the previous Ctrl + I interface, are you referring to the composer control panel popup?
we’re listening to issues and trying to reproduce, certainly want to fix these issues. in the meantime feel free to download the previous version again:

Yes, I like this design very much. Although it occasionally has a slight lag, I don’t mind it at all. However, when I want to edit something again, I can’t exit the edit mode and am only able to send new information instead.
agree, latest version doesn’t seem to work well. Issues with not always applying proposed changes from the chat and not seeing context added to the chat, for example compiler errors from the terminal. Please resolve
Could you provide a screenshot example here? Would be very helpful and certainly want to fix
Same here, yes to all the reports plus this:
One big issue is that the Checkout does not seem to work most of the time. Wanted to check out to previous version, nothing happened, multiple times. Then the code from multiple checkouts becomes tangled.

You are bang on. I thought I was justoverthinking, but yeah all of these issues are happening to me as well.
Seems like things have reverted to rather simple auto-complete (no multi-line diffs).
Also the suggestions now seem to be appearing off the screen to the right of long lines, so sometimes I can’t even tell they’re happening. (Note I code with a monitor in portrait orientation.)
Hmm yes, disappointed.
Emailed for a refund, made a post on forum and they deleted my forum post asking for refund…
