Button to hide "Thinking" doesn't toggle back

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

In the chat, there’s the option to click to hide the thinking of a model. I’d expect it to be reversible, but clicking again after hiding doesn’t show it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Write a prompt on the chat for a thinking model. The thinking will be visible.
  2. Click on the “Thinking” headline. The thinking is hidden, and you only see the headline “Thinking”
  3. Click again on the “Thinking” headline. Nothing happens.

Expected Behavior

I’d expect the thinking to be revealed again.

Operating System

MacOS

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, I can’t reproduce this. Try updating to the latest version, it might already be fixed.

If the issue still happens after updating, please share:

  • Which model you’re using (Claude, GPT, etc.)
  • The Request ID from the chat where it happens (three dots in the corner of the chat > Copy Request ID)

It’s fixed, thanks!
