No, a Cursor plan can’t power Claude Code CLI. Claude Code authenticates with Anthropic (Claude Pro/Max, an Anthropic API key, or Bedrock/Vertex), and that isn’t interchangeable with a Cursor subscription.

If you want a terminal agent on your Cursor plan, use [Cursor CLI](https://cursor.com/docs/cli/overview) (`agent`) - it includes Claude models and bills against your Cursor usage:

`curl `\<`https://cursor.com/install`\>` -fsS | bash`

Same answer on [How to link Claude Code with cursor credit](https://forum.cursor.com/t/how-to-link-claude-code-with-cursor-credit/149346). If you specifically want Claude Code itself, that needs a separate Anthropic plan or API key.
