### Describe the Bug We’re having trouble connecting to the model provider. This might be temporary - please try again in a moment. Request ID: a9d425e5-7f7f-4f6d-8450-96fa669aff8a Its been almost 12 hours I cant use any model, even auto doesn’t work ### Steps to Reproduce Open a chat Type a Prompt ### Operating System Windows 10/11 ### Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy) Version: 1.2.4 (user setup) VSCode Version: 1.99.3 Commit: a8e95743c5268be73767c46944a71f4465d05c90 Date: 2025-07-10T17:09:01.383Z Electron: 34.5.1 Chromium: 132.0.6834.210 Node.js: 20.19.0 V8: 13.2.152.41-electron.0 OS: Windows\_NT x64 10.0.22631 ### Does this stop you from using Cursor Yes - Cursor is unusable ---

Experiencing the same problem, haven’t been able to use any models for hours. I’m surprised there isn’t more posts about this issue. ---

Same error here, but only for Anthropic models ---

Hi, The error’s been present since yesterday, I am nt using MCP and my anthropic api key is disabled in the settings.
