Cannot type character "@" in chat since 2.0

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

I can type as usual anywhere but in chat. It’s quite annoying I have to use the mouse to reference any context.

I use a Spanish (Spain) keyboard layout if that’s of any use.

Steps to Reproduce

Type character @ in the chat promp input to open the context picklist.

(Nothing happens, “@” is not added to the input value, and context picklist does not show up).

Operating System

MacOS

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, this sounds like the same issue other non‑English keyboard users have reported with the Cursor 2.0 upgrade. Here’s a particular workaround that helped, so that may be worth trying.

Thank you that worked like a charm

Sorry guys I posted an already reported issue :folded_hands:
