I’m on version 3.16.17 (Universal) on a 2026 MacBook Air M5 with 24GB memory.
Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
- Editor, Tab & Chat (autocomplete, Composer, in-editor agent)
Describe the Bug
Hi, I am trying to continue a session I was working on last night, and this morning I updated to MacOS 27 Public Beta, and cursor no longer works for any existing or new local conversations.
After about a minute, it shows this error:
The agent execution provider did not respond in time. This may indicate the extension host is not running or is unresponsive. Request ID: daa05183-313e-410c-87cc-7a9ebf39df92
I have tried fully reinstalling the app, starting cursor without extensions, deleting the workspaceStorage folder, changing HTTP compatibility mode, enabling Legacy Terminal Tool, running network diagnostics, killing cursor processes, restarting my computer, etc. and nothing is working.
Steps to Reproduce
No idea, possibly just upgrade to MacOS 27?
Expected Behavior
Local chats should work and the agent should respond
