@danperks I believe that this is a basic software development problem, and not unsolvable. ( chats should be stored in cursor owned and cursor accessible storage and not somewhere where things like OS, antivirus or PC cleaner can clear it. In fact chats should even be encrypted and unreadable by those OS, antivirus or PC cleaner software, it is private application data, if antivirus allows the application, then it allows the data of that application too. ) So this is not a very sophisticated AI problem which needs research team to solve, it is a basic software development problem, which people used to have and used to solve in 2010s too I believe.
and I think if the option is given to visit the history then people will expect to refer to the history. It is frustrating if we create that expectation and then we read that we are not supposed to rely on history, while still getting the option to go back to it, unsuccessfully.
Kindly make a feature request for it or remove the history option at all, to set right expectations.
