# Can't choose model since new update

### Describe the Bug

when I try to change the model, it just pulls up the list but almost instantly closes it. Now it’s stuck on auto and I can’t change it.

I can’t use it!

UPDATE: I can change the model if I head to an earlier part of the conversation and select the model there, but not in the current chat window. Definitely not ideal.

### Steps to Reproduce

Just by simply choosing the language model via the chat. that’s it.

### Expected Behavior

Provide the list so I can choose the model.

### Operating System

Windows 10/11

While waiting for a fix, double clicking a few times usually works for me.
