Can't Login: Cursor for Business SAML Expired

Hi there,

I missed the emails asking me to update my SAML response signing certificate in Google Workspace and now I can’t login.

How do I fix this? (See below)

Hey!

To restore access, you need to update the SAML certificate in Google Workspace:

  • Open the Google Workspace Admin Console
  • Go to Apps > Web and mobile apps > Cursor SAML app
  • Upload the new certificate (as described in the email from Cursor)
  • Save the changes

After you update the certificate, it may take some time to sync (up to a few hours). If access still isn’t restored after a few hours, email [email protected] and include:

  • Admin email
  • Organization name
  • Confirmation that the certificate was updated in Google Workspace

Support can unblock access on their side.

Thank you @deanrie !

When I click the link from the “Update certificate” link in the email, it says The Link has Expired. How can I work around this?

Hey!

The link in the email has expired, but you can update the certificate manually:

  1. Open the Google Workspace Admin Console
  2. Go to Apps > Web and mobile apps > Cursor SAML app
  3. Upload the new certificate manually (not via the link in the email)
  4. Save the changes

If you don’t have the new certificate or you need help, email [email protected] from the email linked to your Teams account (not your personal Gmail).
