Hey @ravi_kumar2, thanks for the report, and sorry for the trouble!

Good news first: your Grok computer itself is healthy on our side. The problem seems to be that your network’s DNS is failing to look up the address the app uses to reach it. That lookup happens on your network, which is why reinstalling, resetting, and wiping data haven’t helped.

Two things to try:

1. Switch your Windows DNS to a public resolver and restart Grok Bot. In Windows Settings, go to Network and internet, select your connection, click Edit next to DNS server assignment, choose Manual, turn on IPv4, and enter 1.1.1.1 as preferred and 8.8.8.8 as alternate.

2. As a quick test, connect your PC to a phone hotspot on a different carrier and open Grok Bot. If it works there, that confirms the DNS on your regular network is the culprit.

Let us know how it goes. If neither helps, we can dig in further.

Hey @ravi_kumar2, let’s pinpoint exactly where this is failing.

Please run these on the same network where Grok Bot shows the problem.

1. Press the Windows key, type `cmd`, and press Enter to open Command Prompt.
2. Run each of these commands, pressing Enter after each one:

```auto
nslookup test.us8.cursorvm.com 1.1.1.1
nslookup test.us8.cursorvm.com
nslookup google.com 1.1.1.1
```

1. Select all the text in the window, copy it, and paste the full output in a reply here.

If the [google.com](http://google.com) lookup returns addresses but the first two fail, that tells us lookups for our servers are being blocked or altered inside your network.

And just to confirm: the black window with no error message is the same connection problem showing up differently, not a new one.

Hey @ravi_kumar2,

Your screenshot shows the lookup works when it goes to `1.1.1.1` directly, but fails when your PC uses its default DNS (the `reliance.reliance` server, which is your Jio router). It also shows that the DNS change from earlier never actually took effect o the the router!

The most common reason on JioFiber is that Windows keeps using the router’s IPv6 DNS even after the IPv4 one has been changed. Let’s set both:

1. Open **Settings \> Network & internet**.
2. Click the network you’re currently connected through (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), then open its **Properties**.
3. Next to **DNS server assignment** , click **Edit** and choose **Manual**.
4. Turn **ON IPv4** :
  - Preferred DNS: `1.1.1.1`
  - Alternate DNS: `8.8.8.8`

5. Turn **ON IPv6** :
  - Preferred DNS: `2606:4700:4700::1111`
  - Alternate DNS: `2001:4860:4860::8888`

6. Click **Save** , open **Command Prompt** , and run:

```auto
ipconfig /flushdns
```

7. Then run:

```auto
nslookup test.us8.cursorvm.com
```

8. Check the **Server** line at the top of that output. It should now say `1.1.1.1` (or `one.one.one.one`) instead of `reliance.reliance`, and the lookup should return addresses.

1. Restart Grok Bot.
