Can't use gpt 4.1

I am trying to use GPT4.1 with the agent mode, Keep getting:

We’re having trouble connecting to the model provider. This might be temporary - please try again in a moment.

Steps to Reproduce

Trying to query gpt

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

This happens temporarily when there are issues with model providers. Cursor can’t really do much here. This is a problem almost all LLM related apps face. I’d recommend trying out Auto mode or switching to a different model.
