### Hi, thanks for reporting an issue with Cursor. Before you report this, we’d appreciate if you can search this forum to see if this issue has already been reported. If you have done so, please check this box. on ### Describe the Bug The Ctrl+L chat no longer works. When I type instructions and hit enter the textarea clears and it goes away. Video below. Select text. Ctrl+L to move it to the chat. Type in instructions, hit enter. Text box clears but no output gets generated. ### Expected Behavior Output should generate. ### Operating System Linux ### Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy) 0.43 ( I can’t give you other ones because I already deleted that file and switched to the old version I had) ### Additional Information May be a claude issue? But if it is, there should at least be an error messag or a “waiting indicator” The old version has the waiting indicator. ### Does this stop you from using Cursor Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor ---

May I ask if you have solved it? I also encountered the same problem, creating a new chat and composer window cannot solve it. ---

I have had the same issue since a new update i believe, nothing helps so far… ---

I haven’t solved it. I just went back to the old version without this issue. ---
