After opening IDE chats are showing ‘Loading chat’

Steps to Reproduce

Just open the IDE and see no more chats?
When I closed the IDE and opened again I had to login and sort of onboard again with settings?

Chats should appear

Hey, glad the issue fixed itself. This is a known issue. Sometimes chats can get stuck on “Loading chat” after restarting the IDE or updating.

A couple questions to understand what happened:

  • Was your full chat history restored, or did some chats disappear?
  • How much free disk space did you have when this happened?

For next time, if it happens again, try this:

  1. Close and reopen the IDE (like you did)
  2. Check that your system drive has enough free space (low space can cause chat database corruption)

Let me know if it happens again and doesn’t fix itself.
