# Claude 4 sonnet in background agent ending work without taking any action

### Describe the Bug

When starting a new background agent using claude-4-sonnet the agent reads like 1-2 files and then ends the work. If i try to continue the chat it doesn’t respond at all anymore.

### Steps to Reproduce

I have hit my spend limit of 10$. Then I increased it to 11$ because i thought this might solve the bug. I still have the 1$ left.

### Operating System

Linux

### Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

1.1.7 (I cant tell exactly because my menu bar is gone and there is no way for me to bring it back)

### Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable
