When I copy/paste code from my Jupyter notebook into the chat window, Claude will reply: > “Could you please share the \_\_\_ code so I can help diagnose and fix the issue? Without seeing the current implementation, it’s difficult to identify exactly what might be causing the \_\_ error.” or: > “I don’t see the \_\_\_ code you’re trying to share. Could you paste it again?” I can also click the “+” symbol and add the entire file and it’s still not accessible to the AI. Any help would be appreciated here as cursor is essentially unusable at this point. ---

hey, happy to dig into this! could you please share a request id? note that privacy mode has to be disabled in settings \> general before generating 1. press Cmd+Shift+P (Mac) / Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows) 2. type “Report AI Action” 3. select the failed one 4. select “Copy Request ID” ---

Thanks for reaching out! The next time this happens I’ll follow these steps. If anyone else is experiencing this same issue please feel free to paste your request ID here on this thread. (Note: This is an intermittent issue. Cursor will work fine for a few hours and then it suddenly loses the ability to see the code I’m sharing) ---

Do you have privacy mode on? I can’t read these req-ids. If you are able to turn off privacy mode, make a new request in that thread that fails, and then send me it it would be really helpful ---

@Sonified we did identify and fix an issue with context disappearing and not being able to be re-added, i think you might be having a different issue, will DM to debug ---

This should be fixed in the latest version - let me know if you’re still seeing any issues with Claude not being able to see your code ---
