Claude Sonnet 4 access issue - redirects to 3.5

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with Claude integration in Cursor. When I try to select Claude Sonnet 4, it keeps redirecting me to Claude 3.5 instead. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I’ve tried:

  • Reselecting the model multiple times

  • Restarting Cursor

The model selection seems to revert back to 3.5 automatically. Any suggestions on how to fix this or force it to use Sonnet 4?

Hi @Atrafi_solution we do not redirect models to other models. When you select Claude 4 Sonnet you receive Claude 4 Sonnet.

Hey, thanks for the report. Do you mean that the model switches in the model selector? Could you make a screencast of this behavior?
