Clicking on update won't update

Hello,

I’ve been experiencing an issue with the update toast notification all day. When I click on it, the notification disappears for a few seconds only to reappear. I’ve tried restarting both Cursor and my machine multiple times. Additionally, I’ve attempted to update Cursor using the “Attempt update” option, but the issue persists.

I’m a long-time user of Cursor and would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

Thank you for your support… would love to have the latest version for the weekend!

Hey, since this update is being rolled out gradually, you might not receive it using the “Attempt update” command. However, once this version becomes more stable, the update will automatically reach you.

I’m having this problem too. It seems like it has corrupted something.

Hey Cursor team it was a bug. I was able to hack around a bit and get it working but here is the win log event maybe it will help your team
