“When using Cursor’s cloud agent, I can’t tell which workspace snapshot or checkpoint the agent is running against. I haven’t found any UI or setting that shows this. Is there a way to see it?”
Currently, there isn’t a dedicated setting or view that shows the exact snapshot a cloud agent started from (such as the specific git commit or when the Docker image was built).
When viewing a cloud agent session on cursor.com/agents, you can see some environment info (repo, branch, environment name) near the top of the session, but detailed snapshot provenance like timestamps or Dockerfile details isn’t exposed yet.
This is something we’re tracking as a feature improvement. We’ll be tracking this post to gauge interest, which helps our product team prioritize accordingly. If others reading this would find this useful, feel free to chime in.
