Describe the Bug

Cloud Agent Web Interface: New Agent screen. Adding an MCP server from the dropdown unintentionally dispatches the agent.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Go to New Agent
  • Click the MCP servers dropdown below the prompt input box
  • Click the “+” icon to add another MCP server
  • Choose any MCP server from the library to add it
  • In the “Add … MCP” modal, click the “Add MCP” button
  • The MCP is added, but also, the New Agent is started with whatever was filled in in the prompt input box at the time.

Expected Behavior

In the final repro step, it is not expected that the cloud agent is started.

Operating System

MacOS

Version Information

Currently Cloud Agent Web interface, using Safari

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Thanks for reporting this with clear repro steps. I was able to confirm the issue – clicking “Add MCP” in the marketplace modal does unintentionally dispatch the agent. Our team is aware and will be looking into a fix.

In the meantime, you can avoid the unintended dispatch by making sure the prompt input is empty before adding an MCP server.
