When I create Cloud Agents from Grok Bot, they don’t show up in Cursor until I open them from the bot.
“Open in Cursor” works as expected. Once I open an agent that way, it stays in my history / left sidebar. That part is fine.
The gap is the list. If I spin up several agents in an environment (say 5), I still have to open each one from Grok Bot before I can see it in the app or at https://cursor.com/agents. I’d expect those agents to already be there, so I can pick them up from Cursor without going back through the bot.
Is that expected, or should Grok Bot-created agents show up in the agents list on their own?
This is expected behavior right now. Agents launched from Grok Bot are all created under your account and keep running, but the list at cursor.com/agents and the desktop sidebar hide them by default.
To see them without opening each one, open the filter menu on the agents list and enable Source > Grok Bot. All of your Grok Bot launched agents will show up there, including ones you never opened.
One thing to note: this preference is saved per client, so you will want to enable it once on the web and once in the desktop app.
We agree that the default is confusing here, and the team is looking to make this more discoverable. Thanks for flagging it!
thanks @Colin - did not see the filter there! It’s not realy a filter, rather a “load these sources” - since its not there when the filter is unchecked. But I can make it work, just choose what sources I want to see and keep them filtered. Thanks, appreciate it!
I also understand that probably dumping all agents there as a default and leaving it to users to filter them out is not the best UX so your initial approach was probably better for the majority
