I set up a Codebase username before it actually released. It wasn’t letting me use my own username (@alma) so I used a different one instead and thought it was maybe because it wasn’t actually out yet.
Now that it’s released is there any way I can use my actual username for Codebase?
Hey, thanks for the request. Right now your Codebase username (Origin namespace) is set once, and there isn’t a self-serve way to change it yet, so you’re still on alexmatta.
The name alma isn’t available to claim through the normal flow right now, so it’s not about the feature not being released yet. We don’t handle individual username reservation requests through the forum.
If a self-serve namespace change becomes available, it’ll be in the changelog.
