Hi Cursor team,

I’m Srinivas Reddy Yarragudi, an organizer with IxDF Hyderabad (Interaction Design Foundation’s Hyderabad chapter). We’re running a full-day community event called “Design Careers: Unfiltered 2.0” on August 1, 2026 at JNTU Hyderabad, and I wanted to reach out about a possible credits partnership.

About the event:

  • Free, community-run event for working designers, students, and career-switchers (200+ signups)
  • Centerpiece is a 3-hour live portfolio-build workshop I’m leading, where attendees construct a case study, write their About page and personal narrative, and build a homepage
  • Attendees publish their finished portfolios live via GitHub Pages by the end of the session

Why Cursor fits: a chunk of our attendees are non-developers (designers) who need to hand-code or lightly customize their portfolio sites. Cursor would let them build and iterate on their sites with AI assistance instead of getting stuck on syntax, which fits directly into the “AI shift” theme of our event (we also have a panel on portfolios, jobs, and AI).

What I’m asking: would Cursor be able to provide Pro credits/trial access for our workshop attendees for the event, or point me to the right program for this? This year Cursor is expanding support for campus and community events. To request credits or support for your workshop, please fill out the event inquiry form: Host a Campus Event at Cursor This is the right channel for these requests.

For context, the legacy student discount is closed for new signups, so student access now goes through events and credits. Your case fits that.
