I’ve been running Composer 4.6 and 4.7 side by side in the same Cursor version, same project, same kinds of prompts.
4.7 feels clearly worse than 4.6 for me:
1. **Permission prompts** — 4.7 asks for way more permissions than 4.6 does for the same work. Same Cursor build, same setup; 4.6 doesn’t spam these the way 4.7 does.
2. **Simple UI alignment** — basic layout/alignment fixes that 4.6 gets right on the first prompt often fail with 4.7. I have to re-prompt or switch back to 4.6 to finish the same task.
