Since Microsoft hasn’t been able to address the scrollbar visibility in VSCode in 7 years, I was hoping maybe you could.
The problem is that disappearing scrollbars are just bad UX. The scrollbar provides information like “is there more information that I don’t currently see” and making it disappear gives the false impression that there’s nothing more outside the screen.
VSCode allows to configure the editor’s scrollbars’ visibility but not the file explorer’s. Could you please make its visibility configurable?
